Board Member Awards
- Innovative Leadership – Dan McMasters
“Dan continues to be a stellar example by demonstrating the importance of the Boards, collaboration with the stakeholders and working with our provider network. Faced with not only merging two systems, but also a levy run, he was approached to take on this daunting task, accepted immediately and has not looked back.” ~ John Aller, Executive Director, Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Stark County
- Consumer Advocacy – Diane O’Rell
“As an advocate for children and families, she is a long-standing Parent Representative and Past Vice-President of Trumbull County’s Family and Children First Council and its Wraparound Oversight Committee, a leader and prime mover of Trumbull County’s NAMI chapter, and instructor of the Family to Family and Hand to Hand courses for families. Diane volunteers as parent-advocate for about five Wraparound families and provides support through daily phone calls from parents and other family members.” ~ Nick Ceglia and April Caraway, Executive Directors, Lifelines Alcohol, Drug Addiction, & Mental Health Board for Trumbull County
- Unsung Hero – George Milligan
“George has a way of providing unending positive support and encouragement. These were challenging years for the Board during which his leadership and guidance was much needed. Never once did he complain about the additional hours or stress placed upon him as a result of these events. He is Hancock County’s unsung hero.” ~ Precia Shenk Stuby, Executive Director, Hancock County ADAMHS Board
