Executive Director
Mental Health and Recovery for Licking and Knox Counties
The Mental Health and Recovery for Licking and Knox Counties (MHR) Board is seeking candidates for the position of Executive Director. MHR is a political subdivision responsible for planning, funding, monitoring and development of our contract provider network of substance abuse and mental health prevention and treatment services.
Ideal candidate is an innovative leader with a strong record of accomplishment in successful leadership in behavioral healthcare organizations and possesses a deep commitment to resiliency and recovery. Knowledge of health care systems, budgeting, supervision, planning, marketing and best practices along with excellent communication skills and proven experience in working closely with community partners are essential competencies.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in public health, hospital or business administration, social work or closely related field and five years administrative experience in behavioral healthcare. Master’s preferred.

Triage Specialist
The Lake County Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board seeks qualified candidates for a system-wide triage specialist job opening.
This full-time position requires a minimum of five years clinical experience in the behavioral health field, strong customer service skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Excel and/or Access software. Bachelor’s degree and case management experience preferred.
About the ADAMHS Board:
The ADAMHS Board is responsible for planning, funding, and evaluating Lake County’s mental health and addiction recovery services. Those services are delivered through a network of providers.
Overview:
A help line phone number will be established and widely distributed. The number will connect with a
designated telephone at the ADAMHS offices in Painesville. People seeking assistance will be encouraged to call to explore options and get connected with area service providers.
Job description:
The triage specialist will be the primary entry point for people seeking help available through our network of service providers. Specific responsibilities include:
- Answer incoming calls to the help line. Ask the right questions of callers, listen carefully to answers, and facilitate access to appropriate resources.
- Maintain excellent professionalism in communicating with callers; and in interactions with coworkers, board members, and our network of service providers.
- Be proactive. Go beyond giving out agency phone numbers to callers. Offer to have appropriate agency personnel get in touch with them. Follow up to make sure the agency connected with them, that they have an appointment, that they were treated well on the phone, etc. Tie up any loose ends.
- Maintain familiarity with ethical issues, insurance regulations, protocols for proper referrals
- Become very familiar with each of our agencies, and with other community resources. Know the scope of their services, their “supply & demand” issues, their key people. Keep up with changes.
- Respect and protect client confidentiality. Know and strictly adhere to all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act regulations.
- Maintain preparedness to deal effectively with complex caller issues. Demonstrate very strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Keep accurate and complete records, and submit regular reports as required.
- Manage a tri-county housing resource database.

MHDAS Board of Logan/Champaign Counties
Director of Community Development & Special Projects
Responsible for community coordination for a two county ADAMHS Board. This person will be involved in community activities that focus on the promotion of wellness from a mental health, drug and alcohol perspective. This individual will also be involved with quality improvement activities, utilization reviews, grant writing, grant management, statistical management, analysis & reporting.
Master’s degree in Mental Health or Chemical Dependency preferred

Stark County MHRS Board
Data Systems Manager
PURPOSE
Coordinate the database reporting software, infrastructure, writes SQL code, produces and distributes reports, coordinates office automation projects, and supervises the System Administrator position.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Coordinates, monitors, implements, develops, installs and maintains database reporting software;
2. Creates and maintains database infrastructure;
3. Writes SQL code to report business needs in MACSIS/MIS, HMIS, NextGen data, and other data streams as needed;
4. Collaborates with Database Administrator/Analyst for software development or problem-solving applications;
5. Provides technical assistance to system users and assists in developing procedures for optimum system utilization;
6. Creates and develops professional report formats in reporting software;
7. Evaluates and monitors data required for change requests to database;
8. Creates and maintains automated systems using SSIS/Powershell and other complex applications;
9. Provides back-up to System Administrator for all needs related to MHRSB phone system;
10. Provides backup to Database Administrator/Analyst;
11. Supervisory responsibility for the System Administrator position;
12 Oversees Network Administration for those Heartland East Boards purchasing said service;
13. Represents HE Boards’ interests in statewide projects;
14. Must work congenially and cooperatively with co-workers and the public;
15. Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Training and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems Technology/Data Processing/Computer Science or Business/Public Administration with ten years experience with software development, database administration, SQL programming plus experience with MS SQL Server.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics
Knowledge of computer software and hardware systems; advanced knowledge of MS Office applications. Proficient data entry skills; supervisory skills; detail oriented and organized; ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Information Systems Technology/Computer Science or Business/Public Administration.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Nature of work requires ability to operate standard business office equipment. Requires ability to communicate and exchange information, collect, compile and prepare work documents, set-up and maintain work files. Requires ability to concentrate for extended periods of time, writing, testing, debugging and automating database processes and accompanying documentation. Travel by automobile may be required occasionally
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work performed in a general office environment. May require availability for additional hours during peak periods. Requires periodic participation and attendance at organization sponsored events and meetings.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary Range: $60,182 – $87,963 Starting Salary Range: $60,182 – $69,442
Hours: 8AM to 5PM M-F
