COUNTY OF SUMMIT ADM BOARD

Coordinator of Forensic Services

The County of Summit Alcohol, Drug Addiction & Mental Health Services Board is accepting resumes for a full-time Coordinator of Forensic Services position. Under the general supervision of the Manager of Clinical Services, this position ensures that Summit County residents who have been found Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity or Incompetent to Stand Trial, under Criminal Court Jurisdiction and released to the community on conditional release are receiving effective outpatient mental health treatment, regular risk and comprehensive risk assessments. Responsibilities include utilization reviews on forensic status state hospital inpatients, compliance with conditional release plans as required by the jurisdictional court. The person in this position acts as a liaison between the criminal justice system and community mental health system and provides consultation to judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys and other court officials regarding mental health state law. Coordinates system integration between mental health services and the Summit County Jail, the Ohio Prisons system, and local and county law enforcement.

Qualifications: Advanced clinical licensure (PCC, ISW Psychologist); State Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.

Salary range: $51,396 to $55,507 (dependent on experience)
